Tonkin “Countdown to Christmas” Sugar Cube Castle ~ Day 5

Sugar Cube Castel

I was super excited for the kids to make this craft. They were very excited for it also. So I will say the assembly was a bit more involved that expected. Two hours just to build the sugar cube frame. Then two hours to dry. I think next time I will use royal icing for the mortar instead but the instructions I saw said tacky glue. Tacky glue worked but with help and lots of patients. The decorating was definitely a much faster project and very fun for them! Oh and very messy we had royal icing everywhere.
